Chloe and Halle Bailey created a viral hit with their cover of Beyoncé's "Pretty Hurts." Now the girls have signed to Beyoncé's management company Parkwood Entertainment.
According to court documents, the girls were offered multiyear contracts that could eventually turn them into millionaires. The contracts were filed in Manhattan Supreme Court and judges will have to approve the terms because the girls are minors
Chloe, 17, and 15-year-old Halle “have been singing, dancing and acting together since they were toddlers,” father Douglas Bailey said in court papers. The Bailey sisters have written hundreds of songs and appeared in movies including “Meet the Browns,” “Last Holiday,” and “Let It Shine.”
If Parkwood chooses to record and distribute their music, the pair will receive at least $60,000 and advances that could total almost $1 million if they make at least six albums.
