Little League Baseball Star Mo'ne Davis Drafted by the Harlem Globetrotters

A day before Mo'ne Davis’ 14th birthday, the Harlem Globetrotters announced that she has been selected as part of the team’s 9th annual draft.

"The Globetrotters are exercising a ‘Future Discovery Clause’ to obtain the rights to Davis when she graduates from college,” a release about the team’s draft reads.

Although Davis is known for her national debut as the first girl to pitch a shutout in the Little League World Series, basketball is her first love. She even made her school's varsity team as an 8th grader.
Davis is the third female to be drafted to the Harlem Globetrotters since their draft began in 2007.
