Shonda Rhimes will be releasing her first book titled Year of Yes later this year, Simon and Schuster announced this morning. The book will chronicle the challenges the showrunner took on to say yes to all invitations for one year. “Saying yes for an entire year turned out to be one of the most amazing decisions I have ever made,” she said. “It was also a little insane, a lot terrifying and sometimes wildly embarrassing. So this is not a story I ever planned to share with anyone.”Rhimes was hesitant to take on the book deal when Simon and Schuster approacher her but decided to continue in the vein of her book title and said yes.
