On Wednesday, July 22, People’s Power Assemblies called for an action to demand justice for all who have died in police custody.
Hundreds gathered in New York City's Union Square to highlight the cases of Sandra Bland and Kindra Chapman, a teen who was found dead in her jail cell in Alabama.
