Kelly Rowland Will Join 'Empire' Cast in Season 2

Fans of the record-breaking FOX show Empire are surely excited to hear that Kelly Rowland will join the cast in season two. She will portray Lucious Lyon's mom in flashbacks featured on the show which is set to premiere its second season in September.

Many suspected the possible casting when Empire writers tweeted a picture of Rowland in the writer's room.

Empire viewers can also anticipate Alicia Keys and Lenny Kravitz who will make appearances on the show.
