Tika Sumpter and Parker Sawyers are costarring in 'Southside With You,' a film about Barack and Michelle Obama's first date.
Pictures from the movie have surfaced online and show Sawyers as a young Barack Obama and Sumpter as Michelle Robinson. The film is inspired by the President and First Lady's first date to see Spike Lee's 'Do the Right Thing' in 1989 which also included a trip to the Art Institute of Chicago and the couple's first kiss.
The film is written and directed by Richard Tanne and is currently in production.
