Beauty website TotalBeauty.com made a gaffe so huge Oprah couldn't ignore it. During the red carpet arrivals, the site tweeted "We had no idea @Oprah was #tatted, and we love it. #Oscars" accompanied by a picture of Whoopi Goldberg.
After much uproar, the site deleted the tweet. The misstep was so bad that many folks questioned if the tweet was sent purposely, after all, these aren't young up and coming stars. These are two of the most visible Black women in entertainment.
Gayle King tweeted a photo of a puzzled Oprah with the caption "We all love @whoopigoldberg but we don't all look alike Jeeeze!"
Black Twitter swooped in to make light of the ridiculousness of the mixup.
