HBO's forthcoming telepic of the senate confirmation hearings of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in which Anita Hill testified about the sexual harassment she experienced has an official release date.
Confirmation will air April 16 on HBO. Kerry Washington is executive producing the project. Wendell Pierce will play Clarence Thomas.
In 1991 Anita Hill, then a professor of law at the University of Oklahoma, traveled to Capitol Hill to be questioned on her relationship with then-nominee Clarence Thomas. The three-day long investigation was televised nationally, and Hill was immediately thrown into the spotlight.
