Mzznaki Tetteh is getting married soon, so she shared her happiness on her Instagram account. She posted shots from her adorable engagement shoot with her fiancé Kojo Amoah.
But shortly after posting the photos in which she radiates pure joy in the arms of her beloved, the photos went viral for a disturbing reason. Commenters were fat-shaming her.
Tetteh and Amoah reside in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. Tetteh described herself to Revelist as "a nurse, a sweet girl who loves fashion, a student, and an achiever," and since the first round of nasty comments, she's posted again.
"Still confident...your rubbish comments ain't ruining my happiness...thanks to all for the compliments and best wishes...am honoured," she wrote under a new photo of her standing proud.
Amoah defended his love when speaking to Ghana's Starr News, "...I am so proud of my woman and I don’t care about what anybody says out there."
"In every society there are people who will try to discourage you from things that you seek to do but I am not bothered at all. And I don’t regret posting those pictures on Facebook,” he noted.
Congratulations to the happy couple for choosing joy and shutting down the haters.
