This morning as I was putting together my daily agenda, I hopped on over to Google and was met with a more than welcome surprise. The first Doodle of Black History Month features the woman who inspired this entire endeavor.

Harriet Tubman, the woman who risked her life and limb to lead runaway slaves to freedom, is pictured holding a lantern.

It's always nice to see extraordinary Black women being given such a huge platform. Google got it right once again.
