Could Ava DuVernay become Marvel's First Black and First Female Director?

 
According to TheWrap, Marvel is eyeing Selma director Ava DuVernay to direct a "diverse" superhero movie. Marvel is interested in the award winning filmmaker taking the lead on either “Black Panther,” which features a black superhero or “Captain Marvel," which features a female superhero. If selected, DuVernay would become Marvel's first black and first female director.
