Shondaland is unstoppable and clearly ABC knows it.
According to Vulture, ABC has picked up Still Star-Crossed, a drama loosely based off Romeo and Juliet. This will be the seventh show from Shonda Rhimes' production company for the network.
Created by Heather Mitchell, Star-Crossed follows the lives of the embattled Capulet and Montagues after the teenagers commit suicide. Mitchell is an executive producer on the Shondaland megahit Scandal.
ABC also picked up a divorce comedy called Splitsville and an unnamed nun drama from ShondaLand this August. Rhimes founded ShondaLand in 2005 and still owns the company.
