Oprah Inks Deal to Release Her Memoir, Start Her Own Publishing Imprint

Oprah Winfrey's life story is nothing short of amazing. Throughout the years, she's shared with her audience her journey from growing up poor in the south to becoming one of the most successful and celebrated media moguls of her time.

Now she's set to publish the story in January 2017, according to the New York Times. The Life You Want will be a retelling of Oprah's life path with her own insights on what we can learn from it.

“All of my experiences, even the painful ones, have been there to teach me something about life,” Ms. Winfrey said in a statement. “I’m still learning and I hope my story inspires other people to live the highest, fullest expression of themselves.”

The book will be the first published by her new imprint with Flatiron Books.

It's incredible this hasn't happened sooner, but it looks like Oprah is going to be taking over the publishing world next.
